Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how KineX (“KineX”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you visit kinexmotion.com and join our waitlist. KineX is a pre-launch product, and this policy covers our website only. We’ll publish a separate, more detailed policy for the app before launch.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you submit. That’s the only personal information we ask you for.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics (via Firebase) to understand how the site is used. This collects standard analytics data such as your device and browser type, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Analytics runs by default, but you can turn it off at any time — see Analytics & your choices below.
Cookies & local storage
We use a small amount of browser storage in two categories:
- Essential — we store flags in your browser’s local storage to remember your theme (light/dark) choice, your analytics opt-out preference, and whether you’ve already joined the waitlist. These are required for the site to work and are not used to track you.
- Analytics — Google Analytics sets cookies (for example, _ga) to measure site usage. These load by default; if you opt out, they are not set. See Analytics & your choices.
Analytics & your choices
Analytics helps us see what’s working so we can improve KineX. It’s on by default, but you’re in control — use the button below to turn analytics off for this browser. Your choice is remembered on this device. You can also use your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting or a tracker blocker.
How we use your information
- To notify you when KineX launches and to send you early-access and product updates.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it (analytics, only with your consent).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Where your data is stored
Waitlist emails are stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore). Analytics data is processed by Google. Google may process and store data on servers located outside your country. You can review Google’s practices in the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy documentation.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist email until you ask us to remove it, or until the waitlist program ends — whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your email address at any time by emailing hello@kinexmotion.com. Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or California’s CCPA), you may have additional rights over your personal information, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a regulator.
Children
KineX’s website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above.
